Engagement Director
Lead programs that will make a difference in the world
The Engagement Director (ED) defines and shapes our approach to program management and client services. Our ED reports to the Managing Director, and is responsible for keeping program, client, and team needs at the center of all we do.

Core responsibilities
- Drive program management for the organization. Help solutions to come to life through project planning, implementation, and iteration.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of programs, and identify opportunities for partnership. This includes fostering deep, lasting relationships with our clients and key partners.
- Collaborate with leadership and a multi-disciplinary team to prepare for client sessions. Help ideate, iterate, and refine varied program deliverables. Establish and steward robust, replicable, and scalable project processes and frameworks.
- Develop and oversee a calendar of rolling milestones across workstreams and disciplines. Facilitate team collaboration, hand off key deliverables, and lead internal and external presentations.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the in-house and freelance engagement team.
Identify any skill gaps on programs and marshall resources to fill them, managing the workflow for freelance team and vendors. - Lead internal and key client communications with clarity and compassion, Expertly communicate abstract ideas, strategic process, and final recommendations to cross-functional teams, clients, and partners.
- Support development and fundraising efforts through participation in case study development, networking events, and pitches.
Your background
- 10+ years experience in engagement, project management, or production on advertising, digital, integrated campaigns
- Superb attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Comfortable with ambiguity and able to manage multiple, concurrent work streams in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with virtual teams across disciplines and timezones
- Ability to work collaboratively and authoritatively with multi-disciplinary teams
- Ability to present effectively and persuasively to both internal and external audiences
- Proficiency with G Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar), Asana
- Self-directed and entrepreneurial
